Video: BRASS Festival 2011 Highlights

 Highlights from Durham BRASS International Festival which I filmed, edited & produced.

 In April 2011 I was commissioned by Durham County Council to document Durham BRASS International Festival which took place across County Durham in July. During the build up to the Festival I filmed performers and musicians preparing for the festival  and produced a series of web videos for the BRASS Youtube Channel. This was followed by regular video uploads over the festival as I filmed, edited and produced documentaries featuring musicians, bands, artists, actors and dancers performing across the County. 

From over 50 hours of footage shot on an AF101, GH2 and Z5, I compiled this 7 minute highlight compilation.  It features various Brass performers at the Streets of Brass Festival in Durham, artist Scanner's "Floral Derrangement" installation, Le Snob et Ulik performing in Barnard Castle, choreographer  Dora Frankel's "One Small Step/One More Step" at the Apollo Pavillion in Peterlee, Emily Portman at Durham Town Hall, school performances, Xarxa Theatre in Spennymoor, Durham Miners Gala, InterOpera at The Bowes Museum, Pan.Optikum outside Durham Cathedral and Soul Rebels & Durham Music Services performing at The Gala Theatre.
