Like my first film, "Dad's Dog", the script will be written to fit with the scenes and locations that I have filmed. I will then connect them with a fictional narrative.
Over the summer I spent some time cycling in Northumberland and took my new Panasonic GH2 camera to film some of the stunning landscape. The GH2 is a DSLR which uses the same lenses as my AF101 and although lacking many of the "pro" features of the 101, it captures exquisite HD video with a beautiful cinematic feel. Its small size means that I can fit it into my rucksack with a small portable tripod and take it on my travels.
The script for the new film is being written during filming expeditions, usually in a real ale pub after a days cycling. I will again be using music by David Cox (aka tem) for the majority of the film but I am also on the look out for interesting soundtracks. If you are a composer and wish to submit some of your music for consideration please get in contact.
Here are a few shots that I took in Northumberland using the GH2 camera:
Music = "grls" by tem.
